Hi, I'm Alex.
I've been working with some of the best speakers in the business - and the event professionals who hire them - for more than 20 years.
Over time, as my network grew,
clients and meeting planners started coming to me with questions:
"Do you know someone who can speak on sales?"
"We really want a sports speaker"
"We want a celebrity - someone with a name"
"I need a leadership speaker who will resonate with CEOs.
And on and on..
Eventually, I realized I was already doing the work I loved: listening to what people needed and connecting them with the right person. So in 2019, I made it official and launched Armstrong Speakers.
Today, that same personal approach is still at the heart of everything I do. I know the speaker world. I know many of the people in it personally. But just as importantly, I take the time to know my clients - because finding a great speaker isn't enough. It's about finding the right voice, for the right audience, at the right moment.
I've jokingly been called "The Yenta of Speakers Bureaus." I'll take it. I'm a matchmaker at heart.
And when I'm not matching speakers with stages, you'll probably find me outside somewhere. I live in Maine and take full advantage of it - kayaking, hiking, camping, snowshoeing and generally getting outdoors whenever I can. I'm also a longtime yoga practitioner, an obsessive foodie who loves cooking for family and friends, and I’m completely besotted with my adopted Maine Coon, Santo.
Relationships matter to me - in business and in life.
